Addressing these concerns, Shahi highlighted increased distribution figures compared to last year, confirming both state and cooperative efforts to maintain consistent supplies.
In response to allegations of hoarding, especially in the districts of Maharajganj and Siddharthnagar, Shahi announced that several individuals are under investigation for purchasing excessive quantities. The government has initiated strong measures including multiple raids, revoking numerous licenses, and lodging FIRs to curb any form of malpractice.
Amid political allegations from former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Shahi reaffirmed the government's commitment to ensuring an uninterrupted supply chain.
