Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a state-of-the-art cement plant in Etah district on Thursday, established by Shree Cement. During the ceremony, the Chief Minister spotlighted the transformative shift seen in the state under BJP governance, which he credited to a stringent policy on crime and a drive for development.

Speaking at the event, Adityanath underscored the progress made in Etah, a region once dominated by criminal influences. "The landscape has changed dramatically," he said, contrasting the present-day zero-tolerance crime stance with past political protection afforded to criminal elements. The new Shree Cement plant, alongside a government thermal power facility, exemplifies initiatives aimed at creating employment opportunities, he added.

Lambasting former administrations led by the Congress and Samajwadi Party, the Chief Minister accused them of fostering crime and stunting growth. He praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, under which India climbed from the 11th to the 4th largest global economy. Adityanath celebrated Uttar Pradesh's leap from 7th to 2nd among Indian states in economic performance, marking the plant's inauguration as a milestone in the state's industrial ascent.
