NTPC Green Energy Ltd has announced a significant milestone in its renewable energy expansion with the commencement of commercial operations at the Khavda Solar Energy Project in Bhuj, Gujarat. The latest phase, boasting a capacity of 49 megawatts, will start supplying power from August 22, 2025.

This development marks the third installment of the larger 300 MW Khavda Solar Energy Project. The first and second phases, generating 142.2 MW and 32.8 MW respectively, began operations in late June.
