Union Minister of State for Science and Technology, Jitendra Singh, emphasized the alignment of Indian astronauts with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of self-reliance during a press briefing. Singh, accompanied by ISRO Chairman V Narayanan and astronauts, discussed the role of indigenous technology and governmental collaboration in space missions.

Minister Singh highlighted that Indian astronauts and resources have stood by flagship mantras that Modi has championed for over a decade, focusing on 'Atmanirbharta' or self-reliance. The technology used in space missions, including those for the Gaganyaan project, was developed entirely in India, reflecting the nation's push for technological independence.

Collaboration across government departments, including Biotechnology, and contributions from prestigious institutions like IITs and IISc, underscore India's comprehensive approach to space exploration. This strategy, Singh noted, aims to benefit all of humanity, setting an example of 'Vishwa Bandhu Bharat.' India's space mission strategies are aligned with global standards, marking a significant step in the country's space achievements.
