Crime Branch Arrests Shooter in Elvish Yadav Residence Attack

In a swift move by law enforcement, Faridabad Crime Branch has arrested Ishant, known as Ishu Gandhi, following a dramatic shootout. The incident relates to the previous attack outside the residence of prominent YouTuber and actor Elvish Yadav in Gurugram on August 17. The accused, armed with an automatic pistol, allegedly fired multiple shots at police, resulting in a gunshot wound that led to his hospitalization. This arrest highlights ongoing police efforts to counter criminal activities within the region.

The incident at the home of Elvish Yadav, a popular YouTuber and winner of Big Boss OTT, unfolded in the early hours of Sunday. Elvish's father, Ram Avtar Yadav, expressed his family's anxiety following the attack by unidentified individuals. According to him, the family heard gunfire at approximately 5:30 AM, prompting them to review CCTV footage. The recordings revealed the involvement of at least two attackers, potentially accompanied by a third.

Gurugram Police, represented by PRO Sandeep Kumar, confirmed that the assault involved three masked attackers firing over a dozen rounds outside Yadav's Sector 57 residence. Fortunately, Elvish Yadav was not present at the time. Amid the shaken community, authorities continue their investigation, determined to bring those responsible to justice and reduce crime rates in the area.
