Delhi schools have been plunged into anxiety after receiving a spate of bomb threats through email from a group identifying itself as 'Terrorisers 111'. The unsettling emails were sent to various institutions, including the BGS International Public School and others, demanding a ransom payment in cryptocurrency to avert the alleged detonation of high-yield explosives.

Early Friday morning, authorities were alerted to the threat at a school in Dwarka, Sector 7. Both Delhi Police and the Fire Department swiftly mobilized to the scene to conduct comprehensive search operations. These threats are part of a worrying trend, with several schools across Delhi recently targeted by similar hoaxes.

In the emails, 'Terrorisers 111' claimed to have breached school IT systems and planted C4 bombs, threatening mass casualties unless their USD 2,000 demand was met. The police are actively investigating the origins of these threats, reassuring schools and parents that student safety remains the top priority. The rapid response from emergency services has underscored the seriousness with which authorities are treating these threats. More information is expected as investigations proceed.
