Haryana's Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana: Empowering Women Through Financial Aid

The Haryana government is set to launch the 'Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana' starting September 25, offering financial aid to women 23 years and above. This initiative promises Rs 2,100 monthly per beneficiary to support women from low-income families with an annual income under Rs 1 lakh.

The scheme is a part of the BJP's pre-election promise to enhance women's financial independence and social security. Starting in phases, the plan will include more beneficiaries over time. Women must have an active bank account and be long-term residents of Haryana to qualify.

The government has developed a digital platform for application and verification processes, ensuring transparency and efficiency. The scheme includes a grievance redressal system and requires beneficiaries to verify their identity monthly via the Lado Lakshmi App to ensure continued financial aid.
