Two women were dramatically rescued following a wall collapse at a Jaipur residence on Thursday morning. The 7 am incident on Amer Road's Subhash Chowk area occurred when the wall of a rundown house gave way, enveloping the women in debris.
Quick-response units, including police and civil services, arrived promptly, ensuring the women's extraction and transportation to a nearby hospital. One woman is undergoing treatment at SMS Hospital. Fortunately, two children present managed to escape the disaster unscathed.
In a parallel incident, heavy rainfall caused a house collapse in Himachal Pradesh's Mandi district, trapping three individuals. Local administration and relief teams swiftly initiated rescue operations to address the tragedy in the Patwar Circle, Sojha.
Previously, on January 7, 2022, Delhi's Begumpur district faced a similar catastrophe with two casualties from a house collapse, though two people were successfully rescued, sustaining varying degrees of injuries, according to Delhi Fire Service reports.
