The Delhi High Court on Friday issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate (ED) regarding the bail plea of Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) President M K Faizy. This comes after Faizy's earlier bail plea was dismissed by the trial court. Justice Neena Bansal Krishna will hear the matter on October 6.

Two other accused in the case will also have their bail pleas heard on the same date. Faizy's petition was filed by advocate Rajat Bhardwaj. The Patiala House Court had previously rejected Faizy's bail plea on August 28 in connection with a money laundering case lodged by the ED.

The special court had rejected the bail plea of Moideen Kutty, known as M K Faizy, citing his past conduct and potential flight risk. ASJ Chander Jit Singh referenced the accused's absence during summons and his influence as party president as reasons for concern, alongside the lodged supplementary prosecution complaint.
