In a candid critique, NCP MP Sunil Tatkare expressed disappointment at Congress Overseas Chief Sam Pitroda's remarks regarding Pakistan, labeling them as 'sad for India.' He underscored that someone who grew up and built their career in India should hold the nation's sentiments in higher regard.
In the same context, Tatkare voiced strong opposition to Rahul Gandhi's allegations of vote theft, branding the claims as 'childish.' Tatkare contended that Gandhi lacks a fundamental understanding of electoral booth operations, emphasizing that electoral rolls are routinely updated with room for public suggestions and objections.
Challenging Gandhi's assertions, Tatkare pointed out the presence of booth-level officers from all parties during elections and questioned why Gandhi would suspect his own party's representatives of malpractice. Tatkare's remarks were in response to Gandhi's accusations of vote deletion attempts in Karnataka's Aland constituency, which Gandhi unveiled during a previous press conference.
