The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), under the guidance of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is set to take place from September 25 to 29 in Greater Noida. According to a press release, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the event on September 25, aiming to showcase the state's rich heritage and agricultural growth.

The event will offer extensive opportunities for Farmer-Producer Organizations (FPOs), agricultural product manufacturers, and providers of seeds and fertilisers. Attendees will explore advanced farming techniques and technologies employed in Uttar Pradesh. Key agricultural entities will participate, including five agricultural universities, the Uttar Pradesh Beej Vikas Nigam, and the International Rice Research Institute based in Varanasi.

The Agriculture Department, instrumental in organizing the trade show, has designated 1,000 square meters for the exhibition of agricultural institutions and technologies. Key figures from the sector will participate, with a robust representation from educational bodies. The trade show aims to position Uttar Pradesh as a forefront state in agricultural innovation and cultural heritage.
