Delhi Police Thwart Murder Plot, Capture Armed Assailants in Dramatic Shootout

In a high-stakes confrontation, Delhi Police apprehended two shooters operating under the direction of notorious gangsters in a Kalindi Kunj encounter on Thursday. The assailants had been plotting to assassinate a social media personality, acting on orders from criminal figures Rohit Godara, Goldy Brar, and Virender Charan.
Advanced intelligence alerted the Counter-Intelligence team to the presence of Haryana triple murder suspects in New Friends Colony, New Delhi. A strategic trap was executed on Pushta Road, leading to a 3 a.m. engagement where approaching suspects fired upon officers. In self-defense, the police responded, wounding the suspects in their legs and executing a swift arrest.
The detained individuals, identified as Rahul and Sahil, were reportedly scouting potential targets in Mumbai and Bengaluru. Both men are currently under medical care. Simultaneously, a similar operation in Kushinagar led to the capture of wanted criminal Sugriva Kushwaha, following a shootout with local law enforcement near Ghoraghat bridge.
