Union Minister Suresh Gopi Celebrates Vidyarambham in Thiruvananthapuram

Union Minister Suresh Gopi joined in the Vidyarambham festivities on Thursday at the Vattiyoorkavu Arappura Eeswari Amman Saraswati Temple in Thiruvananthapuram.
Gopi was observed giving flowers to children, marking their initiation into the realm of letters and knowledge as the Navaratri festival concluded.
The celebrated occasion in Kerala saw thousands of young ones being introduced to learning, with parents and revered members of society guiding them in forming their first letters.
The traditional ceremony involves writing 'HariSree' on rice-filled platters or tracing it onto children's tongues with a golden ring, a symbolic gesture signifying the start of their education.
In a related note, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, through a social media post, extended his greetings for Vijayadashami.
He stressed the festival's significance as a triumph of good and truth over evil, encouraging people to pursue life with courage, wisdom, and devotion.
Vijayadashami, also known as Dussehra, is celebrated throughout India, honoring the victory of Lord Rama over the demon king Ravana and the perennial contest between righteousness and malice.
