Hungary Secures Energy Future with Massive Gas Deal

Hungary has reached a pivotal agreement to acquire a total of 4 billion cubic meters of natural gas from the French energy firm Engie, covering the period from 2028 to 2038. This strategic move was announced by Hungary's Foreign Minister, Peter Szijjarto, on Thursday.

Following the signing of the agreement between representatives from Engie and Hungary's MVM in Budapest, Szijjarto emphasized the importance of this deal for Hungary's energy security, describing it as a crucial pillar.

This long-term partnership aims to bolster Hungary's energy supply and reflects the country's proactive approach to ensuring a stable and secure energy future.
