Vice Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Narmdeshwar Tiwari, conducted a vital visit to forward areas in the Union Territory of Ladakh to inspect operational readiness, according to a statement released by a defense spokesman on Thursday.
During his stay from September 28 to 30, Air Marshal Tiwari engaged with personnel stationed in eastern Ladakh, examining infrastructure and operational capabilities in the region's forward operational locations.
He commended Air Force and Army personnel for their commitment and professionalism under harsh conditions and lauded the Border Roads Organisation and other agencies for their critical infrastructure projects. The VCAS highlighted the necessity of synergy between the Armed Forces and civil sectors to enhance India's strategic air capabilities in Ladakh.
