The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) has officially kicked off Special Campaign 5.0, a nationwide initiative organized in two phases to enhance cleanliness and grievance management. The first phase, the Preparatory Phase, is scheduled from September 16 to 30, with a follow-up Main Phase from October 2 to 31, as stated in an official release.

During the Preparatory Phase, the Department, under the leadership of Secretary DA&FW Devesh Chaturvedi, initiated vast cleaning efforts across government offices, including DA&FW premises. Officials are tasked with identifying potential cleanliness sites, managing e-waste, reviewing old files, and resolving pending public grievances. Highlighting the campaign's goals and achievements, Secretary Chaturvedi featured on DD News alongside DARPG Secretary for a comprehensive briefing.

Continuing collaboration with DARPG, the DA&FW plans a workshop on October 9, aimed at raising awareness among officers about public grievances and showcasing products crafted from governmental e-waste. The initial phase succeeded in earmarking 753 cleanliness sites and processing thousands of pending grievances and files, signifying a strong start to the Special Campaign 5.0.
