Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has urged state officials to fully leverage the central government's 'Purvodaya' scheme. This scheme aims to develop agriculture and related sectors, aiding overall growth across some eastern states, including Andhra Pradesh.
In a recent press release, Naidu emphasized the importance of the 'Purvodaya' scheme in enhancing agriculture, aquaculture, and horticulture income by adding value and tapping into both domestic and international market trends.
The chief minister proposed strengthening farmers' producer organizations (FPOs) by linking them to food processing companies, with a focus on MSME parks set across 175 Assembly constituencies, aiming to improve farmers' incomes and boost agricultural productivity.
