India-UK Partnership Ignites Synergy with Strategic Agreements

Modi recalled the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) signed in London, highlighting its potential to reduce import costs and generate job opportunities, thereby energizing bilateral trade. This agreement, he noted, represents a pivotal milestone in strengthening India-UK economic ties.

Further enhancing collaboration, Modi announced the opening of UK university campuses in India, commencing with Southampton University in Gurugram. He also pointed to increased military cooperation, revealing a training agreement for Indian Air Force instructors in the UK.
