Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah led the inauguration of the 'Jyothi Yatra' and 'Kittur Utsav' on Monday at the Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru. The grand event was organized by the Department of Kannada and Culture and the local Belagavi administration. Several dignitaries, including Belagavi Deputy Commissioner Roshan Baig, attended the ceremony.

The Chief Minister's Office (CMO) shared a message on social media platform X, emphasizing Siddaramaiah's role in illuminating the traditional ceremonial lamp at this historic occasion. The ceremony was part of a broader cultural initiative to celebrate Karnataka's rich heritage and cultural identity.

Additionally, CM Siddaramaiah attended the 'Hampana-90' literary review at Gandhi Bhavan in Bengaluru, honoring Hampa Nagarajaiah. The CMO praised Nagarajaiah's contributions to literature and his efforts to bring change through his writings. His extensive work in various literary genres remains a significant influence in the Kannada literary space.
