Gujarat's 'Rabi Krushi Mahotsav-2025' Empowers Farmers with Innovation and Support

Gujarat is set to host the 'Rabi Krushi Mahotsav-2025' as part of the ongoing 'Vikas Saptah', marking the 24th anniversary of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public service journey. Scheduled for October 14 and 15, the event will take place across 261 district and taluka locations, with the aim of familiarizing farmers with modern agricultural practices and innovations.
The Mahotsav will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and Agriculture Minister Raghavji Patel in Panchmahal-Godhra's Chhabanpur village. Prominent figures, including ministers and dignitaries, are expected to attend. Approximately three lakh farmers are anticipated to participate, gaining insights from a variety of demonstrations and discussions directed by agricultural experts and progressive farmers.
Over Rs 500 crore in assistance will be distributed to around five lakh farmers under various departmental schemes, along with expert guidance on Rabi crops, organic farming, and new-age technologies. The event will also feature 2,800 stalls showcasing innovations in agriculture, supported by animal health camps benefiting livestock owners.
