Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met with citizens from across the state on Saturday at the Mukhya Sevak Sadan to hear their grievances firsthand. Committed to swift problem-solving, he addressed issues on the spot concerning roads, drinking water, healthcare, education, and financial aid. Dhami instructed officials to prioritize timely resolutions and ensure effective tracking of public concerns.
The Chief Minister emphasized the need for governance that is sensitive, accountable, and transparent, underscoring the effectiveness of public hearings as a crucial link between the government and its citizens. This dialogue, he said, not only facilitates issue resolution but also enhances administrative efficiency. During the session, the Uttarakhand Film, Television and Radio Association commended Dhami for a successful film policy that has positioned the state as a top location for filmmakers, boosting opportunities for local talent.
In a move to support environmental and economic initiatives, Dhami oversaw honey production activities at his residence, noting the significant yields achieved in a short time. He urged the implementation of policies for increased beekeeping in forested areas, promoting it as a key self-employment strategy. Dhami also advocated for continuous flowering and pollen-rich plant cultivation to support honey production and called for eco-friendly plantation drives, aiming for sustainable economic growth and environmental preservation.
