The Uttarakhand Health Department launched a comprehensive health screening initiative at Rishikesh transit camp for pilgrims embarking on the annual Char Dham Yatra. Ensuring safety and convenience, the screenings encompass full-body exams and essential tests, preparing pilgrims for their spiritual journey.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, speaking at the Vanaprastha Ashram, emphasized the state's dedication to making the pilgrimage more accessible under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's guidance. Key projects like the Yamuna River ghats and the Haridwar-Rishikesh Corridor aim to enhance religious tourism and the state's cultural richness.

The government has beefed up the Yatra's infrastructure with hospitals and shuttles. A helpline for shuttle services and LED displays will keep pilgrims informed. Cabinet Minister Subodh Uniyal underscored the continuous preparation for ensuring a smooth, safe, and divine experience, while adhering to health guidelines.
