Vedanta Power has completed compensating families impacted by the tragic boiler explosion at its Chhattisgarh power plant, announcing financial aid of Rs 35 lakh to each bereaved family and Rs 15 lakh to those injured.
The incident, which occurred on April 14, resulted in the loss of 25 lives and left many with severe injuries. Immediately following the blast, Vedanta Power halted operations, secured the site, and activated emergency protocols.
The company remains committed to supporting affected families through employment and education initiatives and is working closely with authorities to investigate the cause of the tragic incident.
