Ukraine says it strikes sanctioned tanker
The Ukrainian navy struck a sanctioned oil tanker some 210 km (130 miles) southeast of Russia's Black Sea port of Tuapse with maritime drones, the General Staff said on social media. The Cameroon-flagged vessel Marquise was without cargo at the time of the strike, which hit the stern, it added.
The vessel is under sanctions by Ukraine, Britain, the European Union, Switzerland, New Zealand and Canada, and has been used by Russia to "illegally transport oil products," the General Staff said.
