Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann will convene with President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on May 5 at noon, in a meeting pivotal to preserving the democratic voice of Punjab. This follows his request for a collective representation of his party's MLAs, a proposal the President's office modified to a singular meeting.
Despite the exclusive invitation, Mann plans to travel with his fellow MLAs, who will remain outside the Bhavan. 'I will present the concerns and aspirations of Punjab on behalf of all,' he stated. The meeting's outcomes will shape forthcoming strategies, according to Mann, who expressed gratitude to President Murmu for the opportunity.
In other developments, Mann participated in inaugurating a Community Health Centre in Kohriyan village, Sangrur. The center, with facilities including OPDs, labs, and emergency services, aims to enhance rural healthcare. Mann asserted the government's dedication to accessible health services, declaring, 'We are steadily building a healthy Punjab.'
