Authorities, including District Magistrate Naval Kishore Chaudhary and other senior officials, promptly arrived at the scene. They implemented traffic diversions and conducted an evacuation to ensure public safety.
This vital infrastructure, linking Bhagalpur to Seemanchal, remains closed to traffic. Previous concerns about the bridge's structural integrity have resurfaced, especially regarding its expansion joints.
