As the counting of Assembly election results continues, BJP leader and Leader of Opposition in the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly, Sunil Sharma, has voiced strong confidence in the Bharatiya Janata Party's performance across multiple key states.
In an interview with ANI, Sharma highlighted the widespread voter support for both the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, predicting significant wins for the party, particularly in Assam, West Bengal, and Puducherry. He also expects the BJP's vote share to markedly increase in Tamil Nadu and Keralam.
Sharma attributed the BJP's optimistic outlook in Assam to the leadership of Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the party's robust grassroots network. He further criticized the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, suggesting that voters are ready for change due to dissatisfaction with the current governance. Additionally, early trends show varied leads, with the BJP in a strong position in Assam, a fiercely contested battle in West Bengal, and expanding influence in southern states.
