An eight-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man are missing after a tragic boat capsizing incident in the Mahi River, Rajasthan. This occurred near Bhainsau village, with local police launching a rescue mission.
The boat, which overturned around 200 meters from the shore, had 10 to 11 people on board. Eight to nine managed to swim to safety, while two are unaccounted for. Rescue operations involve local divers and civil defence teams.
This accident follows similar tragic occurrences in Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Concerns about safety protocols are escalating, as the missing individuals were headed to the Sangameshwar Mahadev temple when their boat, lacking life jackets, capsized.
