The energy company had reported a net profit of Rs 125.94 crore for the same quarter in the previous fiscal year, according to its BSE filing, signaling troubled waters ahead.
The company's total income also took a hit, dropping to Rs 855.11 crore from Rs 1,028.61 crore in the year-ago period, while fiscal-year results painted a grim picture with income shrinking to Rs 3,346.06 crore from Rs 3,640.60 crore.
