On Monday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta initiated a five-day campaign with the aim to identify and relocate homeless individuals across the city. This effort, in collaboration with Apna Ghar Ashram and Seva Bharti Delhi Prant, aims to look after and provide for those in dire need.

Gupta detailed that 99 special rescue ambulances and 10 support vehicles have been dispatched to identify and transport individuals to shelters. With assistance from nearly 100 staff and 50 volunteers, the campaign focuses on providing immediate relief, especially to those with critical health issues like tuberculosis, cancer, and AIDS.

The initiative concludes on May 15, targeting the assistance of over 300 people. Gupta emphasized that serving humanity remains a top priority for the government, and additional vans may be deployed based on the campaign's outcome, ensuring every homeless person's needs are addressed.
