Tanker Navigates Strait of Hormuz with Crude Cargo

A Panama-flagged crude oil tanker managed by the Japanese refining group Eneos has successfully crossed the heavily monitored Strait of Hormuz. This strategic move was reported based on marine shipping data from LSEG on Thursday.

The tanker is transporting a considerable cargo comprising 1.2 million barrels of Kuwaiti crude oil and an additional 700,000 barrels of Emirati Das Blend oil. These were loaded in late February, according to separate data provided by Kpler.

The vessel is on track to reach its destination in Japan by June 3. However, Eneos was unavailable for immediate comment on the tanker's journey and cargo.
