In a significant development, Jagadguru Swami Shri Satishacharya Ji Maharaj has praised the Madhya Pradesh High Court's ruling on the Bhojshala case as a 'historic' victory for India. The Indore Bench's landmark decision grants the Hindu community the right to worship and acknowledges the Bhojshala complex as belonging to Raja Bhoj.
Speaking in Kanpur, Swami Satishacharya expressed his gratitude towards the judiciary and encouraged Hindus to celebrate this momentous occasion. 'This is not merely a victory for Madhya Pradesh; it is a triumph for the entire nation,' he declared, highlighting the need for enthusiasm and acknowledgment of the verdict's significance.
Vishnu Shankar Jain, representing the Hindu side, described the decision as 'historic,' noting that the court has partly nullified an earlier Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) order from April 7, 2003. Additionally, the court urged the government to consider the repatriation request for an idol housed in a London museum, while also suggesting alternative land allocation for the Muslim side.
