Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Saturday inaugurated the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Jayanti celebration in Nanakmatta. Lighting the ceremonial lamp, he honored outstanding students for their academic achievements with certificates of appreciation.
In his address, CM Dhami celebrated Maharana Pratap as an enduring symbol of India's honor and dignity. He described Maharana Pratap's life as an inspiring saga of courage and patriotism that motivates Indians even today. He highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the Tharu community as an invaluable part of Uttarakhand's identity.
