Andhra Pradesh is working diligently to ensure its farmers and consumers experience no electricity disruptions this summer. Energy Minister Gottipati Ravi Kumar issued clear instructions to clear all pending agricultural electricity connections and ensure uninterrupted power supply across the state.

In a recent teleconference with power distribution company heads, Kumar emphasized the importance of addressing electricity demand peaks and seamless service delivery. The minister outlined the urgent need for proactive strategies to mitigate disruptions, insisting on swift public communication when technical issues arise.

Minister Kumar is also pushing for completion of government schemes like Surya Ghar and solar initiatives. His primary goal is to extend agricultural power connections, notably targeting six lakh connections for Scheduled Caste beneficiaries by July.
