Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd (SEML) has posted 53 per cent rise in March quarter net profit at Rs 155 crore.
In the year-ago period, the profit stood at Rs 101 crore, a company statement said.
Total income, however, slipped to Rs 1,258 crore in the fourth quarter from Rs 1,286 crore a year ago.
In the full 2025-26 fiscal year, the profit after tax rose 58 per cent to Rs 1,109 crore compared to Rs 702 crore in the previous financial year. Total income jumped 23 per cent to Rs 5,928 crore year-on-year.
''FY26 marked a strategic inflection point for the company, with EBITDA crossing Rs 2,000 crore mark led by the increased contribution from the energy segment,'' Managing Director Pankaj Sarda said.
SEML is an integrated energy and minerals company with interests spanning power generation, mining, steel and ferro alloys.
