The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) intensified its probe into the Twisha Sharma death case as its team visited the Bhopal residence of Giribala Singh after a critical court decision. The Madhya Pradesh High Court recently dismissed Singh's anticipatory bail plea, underscoring the severity of the charges against her.

According to Madhya Pradesh's Advocate General, Prashant Singh, the court emphasized damning evidence, such as multiple antemortem injuries on Sharma's body and indicators of sustained mental harassment. "The rejection of Singh's bail aligns with the gravity of observations made, hinting at a heinous crime," he said, shedding light on the allegations of non-cooperation and incriminating digital conversations.

This legal setback for Singh sets the stage for the CBI to determine its next move, potentially leading to her custodial interrogation. The investigation now pivots on unraveling the conspiracy and comprehending the circumstances leading to Twisha Sharma's tragic demise, amid significant charges under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Dowry Prohibition Act.
