The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has faced delays in launching its Class 12 post-result verification and re-evaluation portal, initially slated for June 1, due to technical difficulties.
A CBSE official confirmed on Monday that the platform 'will start soon,' as the board works to address these issues, which mirror earlier technical glitches in the answer-sheet access process.
According to a press statement from CBSE, the portal is now expected to go live on June 1, 2026, ensuring a 'transparent and glitch-free process' for students seeking verification and re-evaluation of their answer books.
Students with inquiries can reach out to CBSE's Tele-Counselling Helpline at 1800 11 8004 or via email at resultcbse2026@cbseshiksha.in.
Amid the mounting concerns, CBSE announced on Sunday its proactive measures in strengthening cybersecurity vulnerabilities within the OnMark portal.
The board has deployed an expert team comprised of cybersecurity professionals, including members from government agencies and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), tasked with securing the platform against reported vulnerabilities.
CBSE has expressed gratitude towards alert citizens and ethical hackers for their assistance in identifying potential security problems, engaging directly with some to ensure future resilience.
