A devastating LPG cylinder explosion resulted in the collapse of a single-storey house in North Delhi's Mukundpur on Tuesday, leaving six people injured. According to officials, the cause of the accident remains under investigation, with rescue operations ongoing at the site.

Station House Officer Giriraj confirmed that the building's collapse, an estimated 250 square yards in size, was due to the cylinder blast. Authorities were alerted by the fire department and swiftly responded to the emergency. The conditions of those injured are currently unknown, pending medical evaluations by doctors.

In a separate incident earlier, another cylinder blast occurred in Shahdara's Ajit Nagar, injuring four individuals. The Shahdara DCP, Rajendra Prasad Meena, reported that police officers Rahul and Kuldeep acted quickly to rescue trapped residents, including a woman and children, who are now receiving treatment at a local hospital. Initial findings suggest a leaking gas cylinder pipe may have caused the explosion.
