Nagaland's Healthcare Uplift: Minister Unveils Ambitious Projects in Zunheboto

Nagaland Minister P Paiwang Konyak undertook an inspection of the Zunheboto district hospital to assess ongoing expansion projects, announcing new initiatives for healthcare improvements, an official reported on Thursday.

During his visit, part of the 'Viksit Nagaland for Viksit Bharat' tour, Konyak unveiled plans for staff quarters, an urban health centre, and more, targeting completion by December 2025 to avoid cost overruns.

Aligning with Prime Minister Modi's vision for 2047, Konyak called for better healthcare facilities and addressed manpower shortages with recruitment drives and surety bond returns of MBBS graduates.
