On Monday, Maharashtra recorded 13 fresh cases of COVID-19, alongside a patient succumbing to the infection due to comorbidities, as confirmed by the state health department.
This development elevates Maharashtra's infection tally to 2,501 since the year commenced, with five cases stemming from Pune alone.
Despite the rise in cases, the state has conducted 29,757 COVID-19 tests, witnessing 2,365 recoveries. A total of 38 deaths have been recorded, primarily involving patients with pre-existing health conditions.
