A 26-year-old man in Hyderabad tragically passed away due to a suspected heart attack while playing badminton, local police reported on Monday.

Identified as Gundla Rakesh, the victim was engaging in a doubles badminton match at a private sports academy in Uppal late Sunday when he suddenly collapsed. Despite swift transport to a nearby hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival.

The incident, captured in a video showing desperate attempts at chess compressions by his friends, underscores growing concerns over the occurrence of cardiac arrests among outwardly healthy young men during vigorous physical activities. Authorities have registered a case, with post-mortem results pending.
