In a tragic incident in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh, two young siblings lost their lives, and their parents were left in critical condition due to suspected inhalation of poisonous gas emanated from pesticide-treated wheat.
The heartbreaking event unfolded on Monday night in Malbarve village, under the jurisdiction of Pohri police station. Giriraj Dhakad and his family, consisting of his wife Poonam and their two children, Adhik and Manvi, were found in distress after being exposed to toxic fumes.
Authorities have conducted post-mortems on the deceased children to ascertain the exact cause of death, with a detailed investigation currently underway.
