Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha emphasized his administration's focus on narrowing the Dearness Allowance (DA) disparity between Central and state government employees. Presently, Central employees receive 53% DA compared to the state employees' 33%.
Addressing a gathering, Saha underscored the release of 29% DA over 29 months and mentioned the filling of over 19,000 posts since the BJP's governance. He criticized the opposition CPI(M) for disapproving of government ceremonies to distribute appointment letters, ending a previous tradition where such appointments were controlled by the CPI(M).
Furthermore, Saha highlighted plans to staunch referral cases by advancing medical infrastructure, including setting up medical institutions and specialized hospital facilities, demonstrating significant progress in Tripura's healthcare services.
