Kolhapur Cancer Centre (KCC), a leading healthcare institution in Maharashtra, India, has taken a significant step in expanding its global presence through a strategic partnership with Cancer Centers of America (CCA). The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), signed at a ceremony in Kolhapur, marks the beginning of an international collaboration aimed at providing world-class cancer care.
The agreement was formalized with key figures like Dr Suraj Pawar, Chairman and Managing Director of KCC, and Rajesh Manthena, Executive Director and Chief Development Officer of CCA. This partnership, following a positive review of KCC's two decades of success in patient care, aims to harness advanced technology and healthcare practices to improve cancer treatment accessibility for a broad audience.
Dr Shalin Shah, Chairman of the Board at CCA, emphasized the importance of this partnership in a virtual address, highlighting its potential to bring cutting-edge cancer care to both domestic and international patients. With over 50,000 patients treated, KCC is poised to offer improved services in collaboration with CCA, marking a promising chapter in the fight against cancer.
