Healthcare operations at AIIMS-Patna faced disruption on Friday as resident doctors embarked on an indefinite strike. The protest came in response to what they describe as MLA Chetan Anand's abusive conduct towards hospital staff.
The Resident Doctors' Association, AIIMS-Patna, released a statement expressing their disappointment with the administration's apparent inaction following a violent altercation involving Anand, his wife, and armed guards breaching hospital security.
Both parties have filed complaints, but issues surrounding the strength of legal actions and subsequent charges have only escalated tensions, affecting services such as emergencies and OPD at AIIMS-Patna.
