Tragedy at Jajpur Hospital: Wrong Injection Suspected in Patient's Death

A 32-year-old man named Bharat Das tragically died at the Jajpur District Headquarters Hospital in Odisha, with allegations pointing to a wrongful injection as the cause.

Bharat, a resident of Dharmasala block, was hospitalized after consuming poison. Initially on the road to recovery, a nurse allegedly administered the incorrect injection, causing him to have seizures that led to his death.

In the wake of the incident, his family and local community members gathered to demand accountability. Authorities have initiated an inquiry, and hospital officials have requested a comprehensive investigation by a medical college professor, with the body sent for post-mortem examination.
