A tense situation unfolded at a private hospital in Delhi's Anand Vihar, where a patient threatened to jump from a fifth-floor balcony ledge on Friday morning, according to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS).
Footage from the scene depicted the man precariously balanced on the edge, with a crowd gathering below. Attempts were made by a nearby individual to communicate with the patient.
The DFS received an emergency call at 8:40 am and quickly dispatched a fire tender to the location. Despite ongoing efforts from hospital staff and bystanders to coax the man to safety, he has yet to return to a secure position.
