A 33-year-old man has died after reportedly jumping from the sixth floor of a building in Faridabad's Sector 63, police announced on Friday. The deceased, Shashank Shekhar Mishra, was said to be under treatment for mental health conditions at a Delhi hospital.

According to authorities, Mishra, an LLB graduate and currently unemployed, resided at the Time Residency society. On the night of the incident, Thursday, he allegedly had an argument with his mother before taking the fatal leap around 8:30 pm. Despite being rushed to a nearby private hospital in critical condition, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.

Investigating Officer ASI Ashok Kumar stated that Mishra had reportedly been mentally disturbed for some time, and despite no suicide note being found, a comprehensive investigation is ongoing. The authorities have handed over the body to his family post-autopsy, and further actions will be undertaken if any suspicious elements arise in the case.
