The first instance involved a 14-year-old from Basaipuraina village, whose rabies-like symptoms emerged years after an incomplete vaccination course. Despite being moved to Lucknow for advanced care, traditional methods purportedly aided his recovery, which medical professionals have found troubling.
The second case, in Muzaffarnagar village, underscored systemic issues as a man developed symptoms even after following government vaccination procedures.
