In a unique initiative, Toronto Public Health is set to distribute free soccer-themed condoms during the upcoming World Cup. The move aims to ensure that visitors score safely in more ways than one, as more than 300,000 visitors are expected in the city from June 11 to July 19.
The limited edition condoms, featuring six lively designs such as "Block those shots!" and "Peaches & Cream," will be available at four TPH-operated sexual health clinics. This creative campaign is part of the CondomTO initiative, which strives to promote safe sex, reduce stigma, and connect individuals with sexual health resources.
TPH emphasizes the importance of using condoms to lower the risk of sexually transmitted infections and unplanned pregnancies, underscoring the health benefits of these efforts. As Canada co-hosts the World Cup alongside the U.S. and Mexico, Toronto is taking proactive steps to ensure the health and safety of its visitors.
